Legal
Content Policy
1. What isn’t allowed
A game or its listing may not:
- Contain malware, or attempt to exfiltrate data from a player’s device or the platform.
- Contain sexually explicit content. There is no exception for a higher content rating.
- Infringe someone else’s copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property.
- Contain hateful, harassing, or illegal content, or content that violates applicable law.
- Attempt to phish, deceive, or defraud a player, including through deceptive monetization.
- Attempt to interfere with the platform’s own systems, other listings, or other developers.
- Show ads from a third-party ad network.
2. Why sexually explicit content specifically
Payment-processor rules prohibit listing sexually explicit material, so this boundary is a requirement, not a preference the platform could relax later.
3. Content ratings
Every listing carries one content rating, set by the developer at submission: Everyone, Teen, or Mature. Mature covers violence, mature themes, and language, all non-sexual. There is no rating above Mature and no “adults only” tier.
4. Enforcement
A listing found to violate this policy after publishing can be suspended or removed, and the account behind it can be suspended, per Terms §9.
A rejected listing can be appealed from the game’s Overview page. Only one appeal can be open on a listing at a time.
